We purchased Gnon after seeing how much Carter loved Sophie the Giraffe. I was surprised to see that he seems to concentrate his time on Gnon now more than Sophie. He loves to chew on the loop and his head, I love that it is safe for him! Two thumbs up!

I was unsure about purchasing this due to the price. My friend raved about Sophie the Giraffe and so I bought both after her recommendation and reading reviews online. My 6th month old son is teething and needs to always be chewing on something. He likes Sophie, but loves this guy better. It took him a little while to figure out how to grasp it, but once he did it has been hard to get it out of his hands and mouth. This one is squishier than Sophie and so I think, more gentle on his gums. When my son sees this teether he gets very excited, smiles and can not wait to get his hands on it. This is A MUST teether to have, the price is worth it.

Several mommies I know purchased Sophie after much research on teething 'toys'. I also purchased Sophie, but was hoping to find something similar that I could attach with rings to my son's car seat, stroller or walker. He's in that stage where things go in his mouth, and then to the floor. I was so excited when I found the yellow Chan Pie Gnon toy by Vulli. The ring on the top is perfect for him to chew on, or I can hook a few rings onto it so that it doesn't end up on the floor. My son loves to hold just under the 'neck' and squeeze.

This is a great little teether.
We have this and Sophie the giraffe, and our son loves both.
This one is made of thinner/softer rubber than Sophie, and is a simpler shape, so it's easier for him to get a nice big hunk in his mouth and bear down when his gums are hurting.
I also like the handle on the head of the yellow one. It is very easy for my 5.5 month old to grasp and play with. The small loop handle also makes it simple to attach the toy to the stroller or carrier we're using with a pacifier clip, so that it's not dropped/lost.
He honestly plays with both Sophie and this about the same amount, so I'm happy that we bought both.
